Mountfield Heath School recognised with Global Inclusion Award

Options Autism is proud to celebrate a significant achievement at Mountfield Heath School, which has been awarded a Global Inclusion Award for its outstanding trauma-informed approach to education.

The award recognises the school’s commitment to ensuring every child feels a true sense of belonging. Through personalised provision, a strong focus on wellbeing, and an embedded culture of celebrating neurodiversity, Mountfield Heath School continues to create an environment where pupils are supported to thrive both emotionally and academically.

Headteacher Natalie Stevens accepted the award on behalf of the school, highlighting the dedication of the entire team in fostering positive relationships and supporting emotional regulation across the school community.

Judges praised the school as “a community where inclusion is lived daily, not simply provided,” reflecting the authentic and consistent approach taken by staff to meet the needs of every young person.

This recognition is a testament to the passion, expertise and unwavering commitment of the Mountfield Heath School team. Their work continues to make a meaningful difference, ensuring every pupil is valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic achievement.
